Poetry In The Body

Poetry is undoubtedly one of the strongest forms of human expression. In this 90min workshop you’ll learn how to cultivate poetics utilizing the vast knowledge of your body and lived experiences from artist & poet Khamil Riley. Together we’ll venture on a soft journey of connection and discovery. 

About the Artist:

Khamil Riley is a Jamaican-American poet, storyteller, performer, and visual artist. An experimental and fervent writer of poetry, fiction, and prose, Riley’s work aims to communicate all that can be honest and true about the human experience while inviting readers to fall in love with the world around them. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and Alumni of Wesleyan University, Riley prides herself on her connection to and activism for her craft and community.
